In Ending Days, you join Eco in her reckless battle for survival and the search for "the future of hope" amidst a desolate world. In Ending Days, you create a party with two characters and embark on a mission to defeat "Satan." While you can attempt to conquer the Satan castle from the first day, you will inevitably be forced to retreat. To gain the power necessary to defeat Satan, you must travel the world, conquer dungeons, gain the support of influential individuals, and thwart the secret maneuvers of your rivals.

Playing Ending Days is easy, but the adventure is severe. In the field, you choose the next map point to move to, while in battle, you select the skills to use. As you progress, you can acquire new equipment, either replacing old ones or ignoring them to earn bonus items. However, be cautious, as evil monsters can easily break up your party. With each game over, Echo the ancient guardian returns to the past 100 days ago to start the next challenge. The world is randomly generated each time you begin an adventure, ensuring a different history each time you play. The possibilities are vast, and players can carry gold even if they are defeated. Additionally, by completing various missions, you can open the random item box called "Chronochest" to gain characters and expendable items.
